Andrew T. BermanThe Rockaway Ferry brings you to and from Lower Manhattan in one-hour. It currently only runs Monday through Friday only. However there will be a special summer weekend schedules between Manhattan and Riis Landing in Gateway National Recreation Area that should be announced soon.
Riis Landing is located @ The Former U.S. Coast Guard Station Just North of Marine Park Bridge at 169 St.
Fares along this route are:
$6.00 each way
$60 for a 10-trip book (good for one year)
$216 for a 40-trip book (good for one year).
There is a $1.00 transfer fee for passengers to connect from this route with other New York Water Taxi commuter routes along the East River.
